Applications
  1. Download WriteNative from writenative.app/download and drag it into Applications.
  2. Open it. The setup window asks for Accessibility: in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility, turn on the switch next to WriteNative. This lets it see the text field you are typing in and put fixes back. It never reads password fields.
  3. Input Monitoring is optional. It lets typos be fixed the moment you press space, and lets you press ⌥ twice. WriteNative never records which keys you press.
  4. Try it for a minute. The last step is a practice box with four things to try; each one ticks itself.

When it runs, its icon sits in the menu bar. Click it to switch checking on or off, turn it off in the app you are in, or open Settings.
